Interests/Favorites:
Pasttimes: Internet surfing sa kung anu-anong mga site na maisip, mag-malling sa kung anu-anong mall na puwedeng bisitahin (basta me datung at preferably sa SM City Bacoor where I'm a mainstay there dahil sa proximity sa bahay ko), reading newspapers and bashing at the Manila Bulletin-Philippine Star clique, reading suspense and horror, writing anecdotes about anything under the sun, taking pix sa kung anong maisip na topic about society, esp. hell on earth
TV Program: Go For It!, Beavis and Butt-Head (sayang, pinatay na sila ni Mike Judge, sabi sa akin), TV Patrol, PBA/MBA games, kahit ano basta public affaitrs. How I'd wish Satur Ocampo hosts his own TV show.
Music: New wave, Heavy Metal, Gary Granada. Ayoko ng music sa 93.9 DWKC at 97.1 DWLS (all the DJ's there should DIE, DIE and DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Radio: (ranked accdg to preference)89.1 DMZ, NU 107, Rhythms 92.3.
Book:Struggle for National Democracy by Joma Sison. All you want and need to know about the current situation, and its roots. Recommended by Profs. Abaya and Villegas.
Food: Filipino (adobo, sinigang, bulalo, bbq basta me taba dahil machalap!), Chinese, Japanese (hayk!) but I'm less consumptive of imperialist American food dahil nga sa tibak ako
Color: Red, the color of courage and bravery
Motto: Marami, tulad na lang ng "Live and let live, die and let die!" at ng "Imperyalismo, Burukrata Kapitalismo, at Piyudalismo, Ibagsak!". Iyon pa lang ang naaalala ko as of this moment.
Hang-out: UPM-CAS Library, VOLTS-LFS Tambayan, Manila Kule office (seldom), Mendiola, US Embassy
Gimmicks: As of now, puro rali lang naman. I'm looking forward to the day na makakabreak kaming mga rallyista sa mga pulis layns para thrilling experience baga, ika nga, at makatikim/makaranas ng kahit isang araw lang sa rehas ng Western Pulis Distrik Detention Cell. Isa pa, I wanna visit clubs and blow them up!
Greatest Dislike: Iglesia ni Manalo or the Iglesia ni Cristo
Commentaries/Insights/Afterthoughts:
Greatest Dream: To become a rehab med practitioner assisting amputees, maging isang dakilang tibak sa gubyerno tulad ni Rep. Bobby Taņada na hindi buwaya sa Kongreso
Most Prized Possession: Wala akong maisip!
On student activism: It should be nurtured like a plant, for if it isn't, it will wither and die a natural death. Anyway, since UP is the center of tibaks, we should strive for the ideals and aspirations of those who initiated this movement.
On the press: Distortive, mapanlinlang, katulad na lamang ng nasa Manila Bulletin-Philippine Star clique ng lintik na National Press Club. That is why people are very hungry for alternative press which, as of now, they can only find it in the campus press movement. Pero I'm looking forward to the day when ang press ay maglalahad ng katotohanan at pawang katotohanan lamang.
On being a government person: Being an SK chairperson is no big deal for me since barangay lang ang hawak ko, specifically the youth. Besides, this doesn't solve at all the bigger problem, and that is the corruption of our government men. Like what others want, we not only need a change of men and in men but also a change of system, pero tanungin n'yo na lang ako kung ano'ng sistema iyang sinasabi ko.
On being booted out at the campus press: Bwisit, that jerk should have given me a chance to prove my other worth under him. The problem is, inaccomodate niya ang mga brod at sis niya sa Remontados at EKIT. Well, for the moment, I'm gonna construct an online journal in this website and input my journalistic experience, kung anumang natutunan ko sa isang taon kong pamamalagi sa Ang Tagamasid. But still, to end, unprofessional pa rin iyon.
Didn't make any difference from ex-Prexy FVR, because he blindly followed the IMF prerscriptions in maintaining the economy. Semplang siya kaagad sa kanyang first 100 days as the Millenium (duh!) Prexy! Well, other jerks say that we'll be enduring the next 5.5 years in doom, pero tingnan na lang natin...
On the VFA: Pakana iyan ng US of A sa kanilang neo-kolonyalismo!
Another thing, if we want change, change begins with all of us, depending on which step we hall undertake.
